The Kalamazoo Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (KDCCW) is the diocesan level of NCCW. KDCCW was established in 1971 by Bishop Paul V. Donovan when the diocese was formed.
KDCCW has six operating commissions to provide programs based on Catholic moral teaching.
CHURCH: to create a community strong in common faith and gospel values.
FAMILY CONCERNS: to help families live Christian principles in all areas.
COMMUNITY CONCERNS:
To serve community needs.
INTERNATIONAL: to help people in developing countries gain a better life.
ORGANIZATION: to service all aspects of the council’s structure and assist women in developing leadership skills.
LEGISLATIVE: to provide members with information to advocate for justice and peace.
