Music Director - This position at St. John Parish, Albion, will start in February 2026. The Music Director will be responsible for: playing the organ/piano during assigned weekly Masses and Holy Days, providing musical leadership to the congregation, planning & directing the parish choir in weekly rehearsals from September to June, scheduling & rehearsing cantors for solos and Psalms, and selecting appropriate music that aligns with the Mass' theme & readings. The role of Music Director in church requires strong musical skills, deep understanding of the church’s traditions and the ability to enhance a music program. Coordinator of Youth Minister – It’s time to rebuild the Youth Ministry program here in Battle Creek. We are seeking a youth minister to develop a Youth Ministry Program for Catholic High School students in Battle Creek. The individual would work with multi-cultural high-school youth to appreciate their Catholic faith and prepare them for the modern world by planning retreats, weekly youth gatherings, organize Mission trips such as CHWC, plan and carry our attendance to NCYC and other retreats (i.e. Steubenville).  Candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Catholic faith, be outgoing, a self-starter, have good management and interpersonal skills. Being bilingual or trilingual would be a plus! (Burmese and Spanish). The position is 15-20 hours a week with hourly pay.
