The return to the public celebration of the Mass began May 27, 2020. Check your Parish website for specific information on Mass times. The dispensation from the Sunday obligation remains until further notice. The faithful are strongly encouraged to participate in Masses that are broadcast via television and internet, including our own Diocesan live-stream Mass, and to make a devout Spiritual Communion.
Bishop Bradley will celebrate Mass live each Sunday on our website and Facebook.
We have also compiled a list of livestreams available at our parishes around the diocese.
Spiritual Communion is “an ardent desire to receive Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament [in Communion at Mass] and in lovingly embracing Him as if we had actually received Him.” - St. Thomas Aquinas
You can make a Spiritual Communion whenever and wherever using a prayer like the one below or another like it.
